Yes. Windows is free and open source, but the PowerTools application that comes pre-installed with Windows has both a paid and a free version. The paid version offers new features that further expand the capabilities and functionalities of Winux.

Probably yes. In some very rare cases, it may be necessary to update the kernel or install a specific driver, but normally, Windows is compatible with any device that has a 64-bit processor and 2GB of RAM.

For the Winux operating system, you can get support directly from the Ubuntu community, as Winux is developed on top of Ubuntu, which is maintained by the community itself. However, Winux also has a support community on Telegram and SourceForge where you can also seek help. To get help with PowerTools Professional, you can contact the support channels listed on our portal directly.

No. Every month (usually) we release an image update, simply bringing newer packages so that the user doesn't need to download several GB of information using the base version. Winux is based on Ubuntu, and the updates are provided free of charge by Canonical, the company responsible for developing Ubuntu. The Winux team only provides PowerTools updates and sends them automatically via OTA to all users of the FREE and Professional versions.
